The northern Pacific Ocean has the highest seas, with the red to purple colour corresponding to 12 to 14m.

What is the significant wave height (SWH) in area E?
The correct answer is B.
The SWH in area E is 4 to 5 metres (12 to 15 ft, green colour). This is clear when we look at the corresponding wave height from the WAM model. Note that the model chart uses the same scale color as the altimetry data.
