From Muscat International Airport to Kuwait International Airport
ETD 0100 UTC
Flight time: 1 hour 45 minutes
A new Technology Centre is being officially opened today. Dignitaries from Kuwait and surrounding countries will be attending. You need to provide a forecast for 8 am local time until noon and for a fly-past by the Kuwait air force timed for 0900 local time. For the fly-past to take place there must be a visibility of 5 Km or more with no cloud below 1000FT.
The simulator will begin at 0600 UTC. Your forecasts should be issued by 1400 UTC. An update will be issued at 1700 UTC. The simulator will run at 6 times normal speed from 0600 UTC to 1400 UTC (one hour and twenty minutes real time). At this point the simulator will be stopped to allow a class discussion. The simulator will then be started again and run until 1700 UTC (30 minutes real time). At this time the simulator will again be paused for a quick discussion. Finally the simulator will jump to 1200 UTC on the next day to display the weather which occurred through the night and in the morning.
