You may animate or plot. If you want to recover a previously read dataset, select it from the list & click on 'Show Selected'. This list is also used to select the second dataset needed for plotting a scatter diagram.

When you plot, you need to first select a sub-region by dragging the mouse (moving while holding left button). The data inside the rectangular region will then be used in your plot.
