- How to prepare an ANASYG, a PRESYG

The student has to produce an ANASYG, a PRESYG. Interactive modules giving :

• methods for the analysis (ANASYG)

  • How to use water vapour image to draw the upper level dynamics (jet, tropopause anomaly)?
  • How to use NWP (analysis or background) in comparison with observations?

• methods for the forecast (PRESYG)

  • What fields to use from numerical models, in what order?
  • How to draw the different symbols from the pertinent fields?
