Summary

　　More and more PC-based utilities are friendly to help instructors making CAI programs easily. Meanwhile, the HTML document linkage flexibility and popularity in the world, it could be a comfortable human-computer interface option for instructors and students. The author also suggests some software tools to make animation component into Web-style CAI program. Specially the convert from audio vedio cassette to digital image frames are showed in this study. In order to guarantee animation display performance and the fact of PC-based CD-R device is available and cheaper, CAI program is suggested to be put on the compress disk media. From this Double-WWW CAI program, It could be a sample solution to push more CAI programs created in campus quickly and then enhance CAI idea in meteorological lessons.

　　A new classroom with fifteen PC desktops was opened in the department of Atmospheric Sciences, National Taiwan University at February of 1999. CAI programs are expected to be created more in next step. There two stratagems for this requirement. One is to maintain a server of meteorology-related web mirror sites. This site could save much time for network connection and it can be treated as a reference database for instrutors and students. The second one is to organize a multi-media workshop and programmers. This workshop is a jointed proposal with the department of Earth Science, National Taiwan Normal University which can support educational evaluation course design methodologies. We hope this workshop can be the main pool of CAI programs in Taiwan meteorological society.
