Ron Przybylinski


Ron has been the Science and Operations Officer at the National Weather Service Forecast Office (NWSFO) in St. Louis, Missouri since 1991. Prior to 1991, Ron served as forecaster and station scientist at the NWSFO in Indianapolis, Indiana. Much of his early work on the study of bow echo evolution evolved during his tenure at Indianapolis. He received his B.S and M.S. in meteorology from Saint Louis University in 1977 and 1981. In late 1980's he served as a project leader on the Operational Test and Evaluation of the WSR-88D Doppler radar. He is currently a principle investigator on the severe straight-line winds component of the COMET Cooperative Project with Saint Louis University. ronprzy.jpg (29571 bytes)
