Since 1979, Morris has been a scientist with the Mesoscale Prediction Section of the Mesoscale and Microscale Meteorology (MMM) Division of the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) in Boulder, Colorado. He received his B.S. in physics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and his M.S. and Ph.D. in meteorology from The Pennsylvania State University in 1978 and 1990 respectively. Among his research activities, he has been a principal investigator with the VORTEX field experiment in Oklahoma since 1993. | ![]() |
